UCLA Anderson School of Management CEO Forum FAQs:
What does membership in the UCLA Anderson CEO Forum entail?
When you're accepted into the UCLA Anderson School of Management CEO Forum you've committed to attend one half-day (usually 5 hour) meeting per month with other UCLA Anderson alumni who are C-level executives, founders, or business owners. Attendance is mandatory, although you're allowed one absence per year due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
What happens during the UCLA Anderson CEO Forum meetings?
UCLA Anderson CEO Forum meetings follow an issue-processing methodology similar to other ongoing CEO forums such as Vistage. Meetings can also feature speakers or can be entirely devoted to networking. Mostly, though, the CEO Forum meetings are devoted to addressing member issues with other high-level executives.
How large are the UCLA Anderson CEO Forum meetings?
They're quite intimate. Meetings include 10 - 12 Anderson alumni CEOs, so it's easy to build trust and be open with issues you're facing and giving and getting feedback. In addition, you'll forge relationships with fellow Anderson alumni executives, so you'll have a solid support network you can reach out to for support outside of monthly meetings.
Is there an opportunity to meet other UCLA Anderson CEOs outside of the monthly forum?
Yes - there's also an annual retreat that brings all the UCLA Anderson CEO Forum groups together for workshops, sessions, and networking. These gatherings provide an opportunity to meet business leaders outside your group and become part of the larger UCLA Anderson School of Management CEO Forum community.
