What happens on AngelPad's Demo Day?
It used to be the culmination of AngelPad's accelerator period, a day in which each startup would pitch their company to a room full of investors. But AngelPad decided it wasn't the best way to introduce founders and their companies, so now instead of Demo Day AngelPad matches startups with the investors most likely to be interested and schedules meetings.
This new format allows potential investors and startups to spend time with each other and decide whether it makes sense to do business. Rather than running through a slide deck and trying to appeal to everyone, startup founders can ask and be asked more direct questions and spend time connecting with people who are interested in what they do.
When do I submit my AngelPad application?
Any time you think you're ready. If the cohort has been filled for the year, you can submit your email to be notified when the application period opens up again.
How much does AngelPad give out in funding?
If you're one of the fewer than 1% of companies accepted for their accelerator program, AngelPad's funding is $120 thousand. Startups also are granted access to more than $300 thousand from Google, AWS, and Digital Ocean.
What is AngelPad's success rate?
The 140 startups accelerated by AngelPad have raised a total of $1.4 billion. The average amount of funding raised per company is $10 million. Nearly 10% of AngelPad's startups have been valued at more than $100 million.
